Rental Rage Relief

The Importance of checking who you’re doing business with.

It’s a general due diligence check for tenants and landlords. Whether it’s residential, commercial or business services.

Most landlords’ agents or agencies insist on a credit application form, proof of income, residence and identity.

Most tenants do not request the same security of contract from the landlord, agent or agency.

It’s crucially important for both parties to at least have the minimum information of the other party in a legally binding contract agreement. Minimum information being, full names, address, I.D. and cellphone numbers.

Once the legal agreement breaks down through a dispute over responsibilities by either party, the situation usually turns legal.

In order to send any official legal notices for compensation you will need all the personal details of the other party.

If in any doubt please contact a property professional.
