The horrors of not doing homework;


Every landlord and tenant should be sure to check the credentials of each other’s bona fides. In plain English, know who you’re signing a legal agreement with.


So many of our cases are due to seller/buyer, or landlord/tenant, not taking a few minutes to read the legal agreement and know who they’re signing a legally and binding contract with.


A lease agreement when signed is contractually binding by law, be sure to read the small print and ask questions if you’re unsure of any clause. Don’t be scared of asking awkward or stupid questions.


Any legal agreement can be amended/ changed by agreement with both parties.
